Grade 9 Volunteer day of Service
“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give.”
On Wednesday March 27th, the grade 9 students at SJSC participated in volunteer day. The students went to 10 different outreach placements in the city. The grade nines enthusiastically chopped vegetables, cleaned kitchens, dusted churches, organized clothes, created bulletin boards, made cookies, served food, mopped the floors, and cleaned out closets. The grade nines worked very hard for the less fortunate in our community.
