SJCS Students Participate in Women In Capital Markets Job Shadow Day

Job Shadow Day

Every year since 2004, WCM has invited high schools in the GTA to send up to two female students in Grade 12 to spend a day on Bay Street.

Job Shadow Day is a free, day-long event, featuring interactive workshops, networking and mentoring sessions, presentations profiling women with diverse careers in the capital markets, and an afternoon of job shadowing with a mentor who works in the industry. Past Job Shadow Days have been a tremendous success as they have given students a first-hand view of the exciting careers in capital markets.

Our grade 12 students Julie Cao, Grace Williams, Maddie Martinho,  and Allie Sousa participated in the Women in Capital Markets event on Friday, April 5th.  It was a fun and informative day for the students as they learned more about finance and networked with business women.
