St. Lawrence Celebrates Rosary Day

group photo of students
This has been our seventh Rosary Day celebration at St. Lawrence. Ever since the Board declared Rosary Day in 2012, we have come together every year as a school community to pray the Rosary.
This year we did the Living Rosary. Students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 formed the beads of the Rosary and prayed in different languages. Each child offered a flower to Our Blessed Mother Mary as a sign of their love.We began the Rosary by singing the hymn "Hail Mary, Gentle Woman.  Our closing hymn" I Wanna Say Yes Just Like Mary Said" reminded our students to do God's will in the little things like trusting and praying through a real hard day and listening and obeying with a joyful heart.
Fr. Roy, the pastor of St. Lawrence parish, as well as some parents joined us in this celebration.
