Thank you to all who joined us at the presentation:

“Youth and Technology, How much is too much?”

On Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 from 6:30-7:30pm, St. Louis CSAC hosted a presentation entitled:  “Youth and Technology, How much is too much?”

All parents were welcome to attend as we discussed the need and means to keeping our students safe and the role that parents can play in helping their children establish a balanced online-offline life.  As Internet use by children and teenagers increases, so do concerns about their online safety.  Providing a safe online-environment requires an understanding of the types of risks young Internet users face, as well as the best solutions to minimize these risks.

This presentation was given by Mary Cordeiro and Giselle Signoroni, both School Social Workers.  It was held in the school library and included discussion as well as Q & A throughout.  We look forward to St. Louis parents' continued interest and support of this topic as this is an issue relevant to all.
