St. Marcellus Celebrates 50 Years of Catholic Education
The St. Marcellus Catholic School community gathered to celebrate 50 years of Catholic education on October 18th with parents, students, former staff and administrators and the parish of Transfiguration of Our Lord. Fathers Doug and Mike, who are alumni of the school, con-celebrated the Mass which was also attended by Director of Education Angela Gauthier and Superintendent Doug Yack. Of special note in the gathering was the first principal of the school, Ruth McDonald, and the first teacher hired to teach at the school, Colette Livingstone.
