rove Tuesday! 
On Tuesday, February 25th, Shrove Tuesday, the CSPC organized a pancake snack to all students, compliments of the parent council!

On Thursday, February 14th, the ME to We leadership team organized a Valentine Snack Shop! All proceeds went to the ME to We Clean Water Global initiative! We want to thank all the students who supported this event! The ME to We team raised $140.00 for this worthy cause!

Back by popular demand! Get out your mustard and ketchup! On Wednesday, January 22nd, St. Mark will be having another hot dog lunch! Hot dog forms were sent home on Friday, January 10th!
St. Mark Christmas Spirit Week!
Dear Parents/Guardians!
The Christmas spirit is in the air! The St. Mark leadership team has organized a Christmas spirit week starting on Monday, December 16th through to Friday, December 20th!
Each day is a different *civvies day!
*(You do not have to wear our appropriate dress code - navy blue and white)
Spirit Week
Monday, December 16th
Christmas Hat Day
(Wear any Christmas head gear!)
Tuesday, December 17th
Sparkle/Plaid Day!
(Wear any glitter, sparkle and/or plaid!)
Wednesday, December 18th
Ugly Christmas Sweater Day!
(Be creative! You can even make your own with items from home!)
Thursday, December 19th
Festivus Day!
(Wear anything Christmas – red, white and/or green colours!)
Friday, December 20th
Pajama Day!
Pay $1 and wear your pajamas to school on Fri., Dec. 20th!
**Money collected will be put towards the ME to We leadership team Social Justice initiative!**
§  Bring in Pajama Day money Monday, December 16th-Thursday, December 19th.
§  Only students that pay for Pajama Day can wear them on Friday, December 20th. If your child does not have “pajamas”, sweats or other comfortable “school-appropriate” clothing is just fine!
§  All pajamas worn must be “school appropriate”
§  All pajamas must be worn with shoes
§  Students will be going outside for recess. Make sure they are appropriate for the weather!
Remix Christmas Show! 
 Get your cameras ready! On Thursday, December 12th, students in kindergarten to Grade 8 will be participating in Dancing Through the Decades Christmas Dance performance!
This show will take place at 7:00 pm at the school. All parents/ guardians are invited to attend! A letter was sent home with more information. We thank our CSPC for subsidizing the event!

   Christmas Concert Bake Sale
 The CSPC is running a bake sale at our annual St. Mark Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 12th. The concert is at 7pm. Please come at 6:30pm to buy your goodies and get settled in the gym!
 This bake sale is a fundraiser for the school to help cover the cost of various initiatives that happen throughout the year, such as school busses for trips, special guest instructors at the school, and computers for the classroom.
Please send/bring your nut free goodies between 8:30 am – 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 12th! If you are not able to drop off your donated baked goods during this time,  please call the school and let them know what you will be donating and what time you will be dropping it off!
Please bring your $5 bills, your loonies and toonies! Thank you for your support!
 CSPC Cookie Dough Fundraiser!
St. Mark School conducted a Cookie Dough Fundraiser from Tuesday, November 12th through to Monday, November 25th, 2019.  The money raised will be put towards school activities/initiatives.  We surpassed our goal of $2000.00 and raised $2,250.00!! The cookie dough will be delivered to the school on Tuesday, December 10th!
 We want to thank all the parents/guardians for generously supporting our school fundraiser!
Home Alone Course
At Home Alone Workshop 5 Easy Steps to Independence! A fun family workshop to help families prepare their 10 - 14 year old to be home alone safely
  This FREE workshop for parents and their 10 - 14 year olds will help families:
  • communicate together
  •  find out if their 10 - 14 year old is ready to be home alone
  • increase safety knowledge
  •  develop an At Home Alone plan together
