Pita Pit Lunch and Pajama Day

The Catholic School Parent Council (CSPC) is facilitating a pita sandwich lunch for students and staff on Friday, December 18, 2015, which is also Pajama Day (students may come to school dressed in their pajamas).

The pita sandwich lunch is a CSPC fundraiser: One dollar ($1.00) from each pita sandwich sold will be returned to the CSPC from Pita Pit, the restaurant supplying the pita sandwiches. Your child will have the option to select a pita sandwich with topping and sauce of their choosing. The fresh, whole wheat pitas are 6-inches, a size that children can hold in their hands. As for nutrition, the chicken breast pita, for example, has half the calories, a quarter the fat, and half the sodium of a 1/6th slice of veggie pizza.
Attached is an order form envelope, select the pita type, the sauce, and the vegetable toppings you desire. The cost of each lunch is $5.00, cash or cheque (payable to Pita Pit), that can be placed into the envelope with the order form. Envelopes must be returned to school by Wednesday, December 16.

If your child has any dietary sensitivities please feel free to indicate this on the order form. Alternatively, you can call Pita Pit directly: 416-766-PITA. The Pita Pit restaurant is located at 70 Weston Road. The owners of the Pita Pit restaurant have assured the school that the pita sandwiches are as allergen free as possible. Participation in this pita sandwich lunch is strictly voluntary.
