St. Michael Students at the Good Shepherd

On Monday January 19, 2015, the Grade 8 students learned about servanthood  at the Good Shepherd Refuge.  The students made beds and folded laundry.  They had an opportunity to consider what it would be like to be homeless as well as have limited money and require meals.  We were told that the Good Shepherd feeds more people than any other agency in Toronto.  We were all amazed at the warehouse of food and what the laundry room looked like.  Thanks to Mrs. Balint for organizing the day for our students who will be confirmed this year.
Grade 8's ready to make beds. Men will have a comfie warm bed tonight.
Folding sheets so the homeless have clean beds.
