40 Acts of Kindness

For Lent, Mrs. Almeida’s grade 6/7 class decided to do something nice called the 40 acts of kindness. The 40 acts of kindness are 40 special acts we came up with to accomplish during the Lent season. Some of the things we did were we put up complimenting posters on the wall so the students and teachers can see them when they pass by. We also hoped they would cheer people up. We also helped our parents with the laundry, washing the dishes, etc. I loved doing all those wonderful things because I like seeing people happy. My most favourite act was reading to the little kids.  They looked really excited, and I was too.  I don’t usually have anybody younger to read to, so that was a fun experience. We also organized a flash mob and that was also really fun. Most students didn’t expect anything so that was good (I was worried they might have found out about our surprise plan, but everything worked out). Overall, I would say this was an awesome thing to do and I’m really happy that we did it.
