Grade 8 students at St. Monica Catholic School had the opportunity to see the Stanley Cup
Millions of people are struggling to survive the devastation of poverty, disease and disaster and every year countless people make Operation Christmas Child a reality. St. Monica’s Catholic School community is among the many whose gifts will make a difference this year. The children donated shoe boxes filled with gifts for children that are sent overseas for Christmas.
More than 68 million shoe box gifts have brought a message of hope, joy, and love to children in over 130 countries since 1992. Last season, 713,294 shoe boxes were collected in Canada and distributed to children in more than 15 countries. If you have boxes you would like to donate or have questions regarding the program please call 1-800-303-1269.
