St. Paul Catholic School-Celebrating Canada's 150th

In order to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday, the Junior and Intermediate students at St. Paul Catholic School worked together to create The St. Paul Museum of Canadian Heritage and Culture which consisted of artifacts representing Canadian heritage.  The display included a wide variety of models, structures and artwork.

To further celebrate, the Junior/Intermediate students worked as museum tour guides by providing scheduled guided tours to younger students who visited the museum.  Visitors also took part in a viewing of Heritage Minute videos and participated in a question/answer period facilitated by museum staff.  Tours ended with a visit to the Museum Gift Shop.  This was an amazing learning experience for all students and helped them develop a greater appreciation for their Canadian history.
