Our students performed a beautiful Remembrance Day Play on Nov 10 in our school gym and  then  for the Royal Canadian  Legion at Branch  614 on Nov 11. The  play was very well received by both our school and the community.

We  hope  the message of the  play resonates  with  all. Peace starts  with us.

Subject: Thank you!
Hi Roy,
I am writing to thank you & your entire school community for the research & organizing last night performance at the Canadian Legion Centennial Branch 614 annual Remembrance Day.
Your students' strong  performance re WWI was well received by the Veterans & their family. I know they greatly appreciated your school participation at yesterday's Remembrance Day.
There were couple of suggestions & comments the Legion Branch President made about your school performance:
1. They would like to see if your school can perform at 2018 Scarborough Civic Ctr Remembrance Day Service; I will ask Councillor Chin Lee to check with City staff who is responsible for planning this annual Scarborough event; 2. Your school should participate in the annual Canadian Legion poetry & writing contest associated with yesterday's play; according to President Wayne, your school should have received the info re this annual contest; if not, pls let him know.
Again, thank to you, your students, staff & parents for your last night 's performance.

And  ONE lighter picture to  celebrate the success  of  the  students:
