Padlet Day 2
Learing log day 2. The expectation is to include 2 WOW moments from the morning and 2 WOW moments from the afternoon. Each should include analysis.
e.g.
WOW #1
I was very interested in the morning when Allen talked about how zoos of the future are considering "Augmented reality." This was the first time I heard the term and I understood that it means we could do things like have a closer up view of tigers and essentially making our experience of things that much more believable.
WOW#2
In the afternoon, I saw an animal I have never seen before in all my years of visiting the zoo - The Golden Lion Tamarin. It was so bright and colourful. The animal also seemed very active in the enclosure.
It made me think that when we see animals that are leaping around and seemingly enjoying this, we don't think so much about zoos being a problem. There were plenty of animal enrichment pieces in the enclosure as well which likely also helped. So there's another thought - the more an animal has to keep them occupied, the happier they are. Interesting because Chloe the dog enjoys sticks and toys but only if someone plays with her. I guess every animal is different.

Day #3
Great presentation on exhibit design and we've started working toward our final artifact.
