Principal's Message

It gives me great pleasure, as Principal of St. Ursula, to welcome you to the official St. Ursula Catholic School website. This website has been prepared as a valuable source of school news and timely information for parents, students, and visitors to the site. It has been developed to enable everyone to become familiar with our school, its policies, and other procedures that are basic for the smooth functioning of our school, as well as to provide you with updated school news, schedules and events.

Our St. Ursula School staff members are committed to building strong positive relationships with all our students, families and community members. The staff takes great pride in providing a safe and secure learning environment, while offering a wide array of exciting and challenging academic and extra-curricular programs.

We are a school with a difference. Our staff members are here to nurture, guide, and educate the students in a positive and caring manner. We strive to be the best we can be and we try to keep this in mind each new day and keep it REAL. This acronym, representing Respect, Equality, Appreciation and Listening, is demonstrated daily through the cooperative actions of our students. St. Ursula’s students are encouraged to follow the Golden Rule: “Treat others the way you would like to be treated.” When each student demonstrates positive character traits on a daily basis, our school will continue to be one that exemplifies God’s message, “Love one another as I have loved you.”

We provide all students with an agenda book which will help our students to plan their time effectively and become more independent. Under the guidance of staff and parents, students use their agenda books to record daily homework, assignments, projects, school events and other important reminders. In addition, the agenda book is an excellent avenue for parents to communicate with their child’s teacher. The agenda book also contains special notes and information about our Catholic faith.

We look forward to an awesome school year with your child and your family. Thank you for your ongoing support of our Catholic School.

God bless,

George Danfulani
