Faith, Hope and Charity Club

Faith, hope and charity, these 3 supernatural virtues are a gift from God.  Our faith requires us to worship God and to be witnesses to His Word.  Jesus came to earth because we needed Him to teach us things about God we could never figure out on our own.  In being a witness to our faith, we do things to benefit others who are needy.  In being a witness to our faith, we are making a difference in profound ways.  The world needs us.  The world needs you to make a difference.

The Faith, Hope and Charity Club gives us the opportunity to make a difference at St. Vincent de Paul, in your community and in your world.

Prayer:
We are children helping children.
If one child in the world goes hungry, then we all go hungry.
If one child in the world is neglected, then we are all neglected.
If one child in the world is abandoned , then we are all abandoned.
If one child in the world is silenced, then we are all silenced.
If one child in the world feels unloved, then we all feel unloved.
If one child cries in the night, then we all cry in the night.
Because…
We are children helping children.

We Scare Hunger

Millions of people around the world, and some in our own communities, go hungry every day – many of them are children.
During the month of October, the Faith, Hope and Charity Club encouraged students to join thousands who are taking action to scare local hunger and poverty.  The students at St. Vincent de Paul collected non-perishable goods to help support their local food bank and raised awareness about this very important issue.
