An image of a Christmas tree - Christmas message from the Director of Education and Chair of the Board

Dear TCDSB Community,

As we gather with our loved ones during this joyous season, we extend heartfelt greetings on behalf of the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Christmas is a time of reflection, gratitude, and renewed hope. We invite you to watch our heartfelt Christmas video, where we share reflections on the year gone by and extend our warmest wishes for the holiday season.

In a world filled with challenges, the spirit of Christmas reminds us that hope persists even in the darkest moments. Our faith teaches us that, through the birth of Jesus Christ, we are bestowed with the light of salvation. We are inspired by the resilience and strength displayed by our students, educators, staff, and families throughout the year.

This Christmas, let us embrace the true meaning of the season - a time to celebrate the gift of love, kindness, and compassion. As a community centred in Christ, we find solace in peace, hope, joy, and love and the call to bring about justice in our world.

Wishing you a blessed and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and New Year!

Sincerely,

Dr. Brendan Browne
Director of Education
