On January 23, the St. Barnabas Catholic School community celebrated indigenous culture through participating in the Tribal Vision Performance Art presentation. This is part of St. Barnabas’ Indigenous Learning Initiative grant funded by the Toronto Catholic District School Board's (TCDSB) Experiential Learning department.
It was an interactive, informative and joyous presentation consisting of dance, tradition, ceremony, language, regalia and the story of Turtle Island.
Students and staff were given the opportunity to appreciate and acknowledge the rich cultural history of our First Nations Peoples.
