Dear TCDSB Community,

As we transition into summer, we have rounded up key reminders, updates, newsletters and guides to help families stay informed and connected over the break.

2025-2026 School Year Calendar

Next year’s school calendar is now available. To help you plan ahead for important dates and break periods, check out our 2025-2026 school year calendar.

Pastoral Plan

With the first year of our new Pastoral Plan, In God’s Image: Growing in Knowledge, now behind us, it's a great time to reflect on the values that have guided us. Let’s carry that spirit into the summer and into the new school year.

Literacy/Numeracy Summer Support Program

This non-credit program is designed to assist students currently in Grades 6, 7, or 8 whose performance in Language and Mathematics indicates that they require additional support to succeed in the upcoming school year. The Literacy and Numeracy Program will be offered in person and through remote learning.

The program will run from Wednesday, July 2, 2025, to Friday, July 25, 2025, with sessions from 8:30 AM to 11:34 AM and 12:16 PM to 3:20 PM.

Visit our website for more information and to register.

TCDSB Secondary Summer School

Register for Summer School to earn a new course credit or upgrade an existing credit. We will be offering the following delivery models this summer: eClass Online Learning, In-Person Learning, and Remote/Virtual Learning.

Space is limited, so we recommend registering as soon as possible. Visit our website for more information.

Summer Message from Toronto Public Health (TPH)

With summer fast approaching, TPH is encouraging parents and students to stay up to date with all vaccinations, as outlined in the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA). This includes vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, polio, pertussis (whooping cough), meningococcal disease and varicella (chickenpox).

Use the break to check your child’s and your family’s measles vaccinations in their yellow vaccine card, online at Immunize Connect Ontario (ICON) or speak with your primary health care provider.

If students are missing a measles vaccine, parents may receive a letter from TPH asking them to update their child’s vaccine records by August 31, 2025. Visit TPH website for more information.
