The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is committed to providing services that are free of barriers and biases to our students, parents/guardians, trustees, the public and our staff.

We are committed to meeting the accessibility needs of people with disabilities in the delivery of services including those related to learning, information and communication, employment, and student transportation.

There is a variety of policies and resources in place for staff, students and community members to ensure compliancy with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

National AccessAbility Week and Red Shirt Day

National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is an opportunity to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to recognize the efforts of individuals, communities and workplaces that are actively working to remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion.

Accessible Format Request

With our continued commitment to meet the requirements outlined in the AODA, the TCDSB will, upon request, provide or arrange for the provision of accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities. 

Please send your request to Flora Cifelli (flora.cifelli@tcdsb.org​). You can expect to hear back within 48 hours.

If a request for an accessible format or communication support cannot be met, the staff responsible for that information or communication will provide an explanation and a summary of the information to the person(s) who made the request.
