The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) has a long and distinguished history of providing excellence in Catholic education for the Toronto community.
Our inclusive learning community has more than 195 schools serving more than 90,000 students.
The TCDSB is an inclusive learning community uniting home, parish and school and rooted in the love of Christ. We educate students to grow in grace and knowledge to lead lives of faith, hope and charity.
We transform the world through witness, faith, innovation and action.
The TCDSB is governed by 12 elected Trustees of the Board and 2 Student Trustees.
Our policies are administered by the Director of Education and the Director's designates.
Learn about our governance:
The By-Laws of the TCDSB regulate the powers and responsibilities of the Board, its committees and officers.
Members of the public who are interested in Catholic education are welcome to attend public sessions of our Board and Committee meetings.
We maintain our commitment to equity and inclusion as ever-present goals, critical responsibilities and moral imperatives.
Our budget process is largely about balancing the ongoing cost pressures associated with operating a large urban school board and ensuring that students receive the best possible environment to encourage achievement and well-being through the lens of Catholic Faith.
We are one of the largest employers in Toronto and are looking for talented and passionate staff to join our team.
