Community Use of Schools (Permits)

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), as a publicly funded educational institution, shall make its facilities available to the public for use for worthwhile purposes, without infringing upon the school’s educational process.

Facilities typically available for permit include:

  1. General / multi-purpose room.

  2. Gymnasium.

  3. Playing fields (the permit holder must pay fees for a caretaker to provide access to washroom facilities inside the building for any weekend permit of longer than 3 hours).

  4. Parking areas.

  5. Access to washrooms.

  6. Classrooms (prior approval by principal is required).

  7. Library resource rooms (prior approval by principal is required).
