Community Use of Schools (Permits)
Filming Requests
Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) schools may be booked for filming TV shows, movies, commercials, and photography. Operating schools are available only after 6:00 PM on weekdays, or on weekends and holidays. Costs and terms are provided once a permit application is submitted.
Application Process
The Community Use of Schools Department reviews and processes all filming permits and negotiates permit fees. To determine availability of a school and to make arrangements for a site visit, contact the Community Use of Schools Department at 416-512-3222 or email permits@tcdsb.org.
Applications can be submitted on the permit portal. Please create a new account if you don’t have an account with us.
A minimum of $2 million liability insurance naming the TCDSB as additional insured is required prior to approval of the permit. Once permit fees are determined, payment must be received before the permit start date by certified cheque, money order, Visa, or MasterCard.
Terms and Conditions
A script must be submitted to the Community Use of Schools Department for review and approval.
The permit holder must ensure that any construction on or alterations made to TCDSB property are approved in advance and in writing.
There cannot be any TCDSB signage filmed.
