Academic Leadership Development
Academic Leadership Development supports teachers and school-based educators who are interested in growing their leadership capacity and exploring future leadership opportunities within TCDSB.
Educational leaders play a critical role in improving student achievement and fostering positive school communities. TCDSB is committed to developing strong, effective, and inclusive academic leaders by providing professional learning opportunities that support leadership growth at all stages of an educator’s career.
Support is provided to aspiring and current leaders through professional learning, mentorship, and system-wide leadership opportunities aligned with provincial leadership frameworks.
Detailed programs, learning series, and application-based opportunities are available to current staff through the TCDSB Staff Portal.

Corporate Leadership Development
Corporate Leadership Development supports current and aspiring leaders working in the corporate and operational areas of TCDSB, including Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, Information Technology, Communications, and other central services.
Strong leadership in these areas is essential to the effective operation and long-term sustainability of the school board. Corporate Leadership Development focuses on building the skills, confidence, and capacity needed to lead teams, manage complex systems, and support student success across the organization.
Support is designed to promote continuous learning, strategic thinking, professional accountability, and effective management within a public-sector education environment.
