Budget and Finance

With an annual budget of more than $1 billion, the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is one of Toronto’s largest employers, with over 14,000 employees who are responsible for the daily education of some 90,000 students in more than 195 schools.

Audited Financial Statements

The TCDSB maintains a system of internal controls designed to provide reasonable assurance that assets are safeguarded, transactions are properly authorized and recorded in compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, and reliable financial information is available on a timely basis for preparation of the consolidated financial statements.​

These statements are audited by an independent external auditor and posted publicly each year.
