The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) offers credit courses under the Ontario Secondary Schools (OSS) curriculum guidelines. Parents and students must consult with their day school guidance counsellor or vice-principal / principal regarding their course selections, prerequisite courses and diploma requirements.
Course selections must be made in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum guidelines. Diploma requirements and course descriptions are listed on the Ontario Ministry of Education website.
Students must register by October 1, 2026 (Thursday).
The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) reserves the right to cancel a class upto the fourth session of the program. A preliminary list of cancelled courses will be available on the evening of October 2, 2026 (Friday).
It is the student's responsibility to check our website for a list of all cancelled classes. See our Program Booklet for information.
Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
In-Person: Parents must contact the Saturday school location during Saturday school hours to report an absence or to inquire about their child’s attendance.
Remote Learning: Students are expected to log in on during the days and times posted above. To report an absence, please email the principal listed on the last page.
All students, except those taking an Open-level course, will be required to complete a proctored (in-person/remote) final exam at the end of the course. Students must have access to a computer with a working camera and microphone to complete the exam.
Open to all high school students and adults with the appropriate pre-requisites, students may take a new credit, or re-take a course previously attempted to upgrade a mark.
All students will be required to complete a final assessment.Students that are unable to fulfill this condition will be considered not to have completed the course. Please check with your teacher for details on the proctored (in-person/remote) final exam.
Please note: You must have completed and have a successful mark in the prerequisite course (if applicable) to apply for a new credit course.
Students may register for a maximum total of three new credit courses this term (two Night School courses and one Saturday School course).
Our Night School courses for Fall 2026 are offered using the Remote Learning course delivery model.
These courses are offered through a mixture of synchronous (80%) and asynchronous (20%) instruction. The synchronous component of classes will be using either Brightspace D2L or Google Classroom with Zoom or Google Meet. Synchronous Learning occurs when the teacher interacts with a student or group of students in real-time either online or through other means in relation to the course content, lessons, or assessment tools. Students are expected to be connected to their class during the posted times.
Please note: Remote learning credit courses cannot be used to satisfy the Online Learning Graduation requirement.
Each credit course is 94.5 hours (27 Sessions X 3.5 hours).

Students may take classical or international language courses in any grade of secondary school. For this reason, progression is indicated by levels rather than grades. Classical languages and international languages are all offered at three levels in Grades 9 to 12.
Courses at Level 1 are intended to interest students in studying the language and to provide a basis for acquiring and applying more advanced skills at Levels 2 and 3. Students may take courses at Levels 2 and 3 if they have completed the prerequisites.
The Continuing Education Department offers in-person courses at the Academic and University levels. Each credit course is 94.5 hours (27 Sessions X 3.5 hours).
