Supporting Every Student

At St. Kevin Catholic School, we strive to meet the individual needs of every student in a Catholic, caring, safe, and welcoming environment. Every child is encouraged to reach their full potential while feeling respected, valued, and supported.

Faith-Based Learning

Our Catholic faith is evident throughout the school. An altar welcomes students and visitors at the entrance, and each classroom includes a prayer corner for personal and class prayer.

Students participate in school-wide Masses, liturgical celebrations, and other religious activities throughout the year. Teachers prepare students for these celebrations, encouraging active participation through readings, prayers, intentions, and responses.

Student Success

Our staff recognizes the unique strengths and needs of every child and fosters an environment built on respect, responsibility, and compassion. Together, we create a strong sense of community where students are supported in their learning and personal growth.

Lifelong Learning

Our teachers are committed to continuous professional learning, including technology and computer literacy. Beyond the classroom, staff lead athletics, mathematics, literacy, and extracurricular activities that provide students with a well-rounded educational experience.

School History and Tradition

St. Kevin Catholic School opened in 1964 with an enrolment of 518 students. The school is named after St. Kevin, one of the principal patrons of Dublin, Ireland, and the founder of the renowned Abbey of Glendalough, one of Ireland's most important pilgrimage sites.

St. Kevin is remembered for his deep faith, humility, and commitment to Christian service. His feast day is celebrated on June 3. Inspired by his example, the St. Kevin Catholic School community continues to honour his legacy through Catholic teachings, faith-filled learning, and service to others.

For more than 60 years, St. Kevin Catholic School has remained committed to excellence in Catholic education, providing students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 with a strong academic foundation while nurturing faith, character, and a lifelong love of learning.
