The TCDSB will never ask students for money in person or over the phone.  Students and their Custodians can report any suspicious requests for transferring of funds to the Toronto Police.

TORONTO CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD INTERNATIONAL STUDENT PROGRAMS FEES SCHEDULE FOR SCHOOLS AND REFUND POLICIES

 

TUITION FEES AND HEALTH CARE INSURANCE

NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE: $250.00 to be submitted with the application.
 

SECONDARY SCHOOL (GRADE 9-12) TUITION FEE:

Full Year $14,500.00 CAD September to June (Max. 8 Credits) Health Care Included
 
Half Year $ 7,250.00 CAD One semester (Max. 4 Credits)​ Health Care Included
 

ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS (GRADES 1-8) AND (KINDERGARDEN (Junior and Senior)

Full Year $13,000.00 CAD September to June  - Health Care Included
 
Half Year $ 6,500.00 CAD One semester - Health Care Included
 

TUITION FEE

To be made payable to the T.C.D.S.B. (Toronto Catholic District School Board) by certified cheque, bank draft, money order in Canadian Current or through Wire Transfer.
 

HEALTH INSURANCE

Is mandatory in Ontario and every Visa Student must have coverage while studying in Ontario; *therefore, the cost is included in the tuition fees.
 
 

REFUND POLICY

If the complete study permit package document has been submitted to Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the study permit is not granted, the full amount less $200 for processing fees and $500 for courier and administration costs will be deducted. For a refund, the students must provide:
  1. The original Refusal from Immigration Canada stating that the Visa was not approved MUST be submitted within 60 days from the date on the refusal letter.
  2. The original TCDSB Letter of Acceptance.
  3. The original Receipt of Tuition Fee Payment.
  4. A written refund request by the parent including the name and address of the person to receive the refund.
 

NO REFUNDS FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS

  1. If the student chooses to withdraw for any reasons other than the study permit being denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
  2. If the Study Permit is denied by Citizenship and Immigration Canada due to missing documents or incomplete paperwork.
  3. If the student has started attending classes.
  4. If the student is found in violation of school regulations and asked to withdraw from the school.
  5. If the student changes board during the school year
  6. If false medical information was provided and health conditions were not disclosed.
  7. If the student’s immigration status changes during the school year, the parents or student is asked to contact our office immediately.
 

International Visa Student Enrolment Caps – 2018/19

In collaboration with the International Students department, Planning Services and Director’s Council, caps for International VISA students have been developed for all secondary schools, with a particular focus on oversubscribed schools. 
These CAPS were approved at the February 2, 2018 meeting of the Student Achievement and Well-Being Committee and are applicable as a total for all grade level International students per school.
