Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to share that the Student and Family Support Office (SFSO) at the Toronto Catholic District School Board is now open and ready to support students and families.
A letter from the Minister of Education was sent home on November 13, 2025, to introduce the creation of Student and Family Support Offices in school boards across Ontario.
The Student and Family Support Office is designed to help families navigate questions or concerns and connect with additional support at the Board level when a matter cannot be addressed at the school level.
When to Contact the Student and Family Support Office
Most concerns are best resolved directly at the school, beginning with your child’s teacher or principal. We encourage families to review our Student and Family Support page, which outlines the recommended steps for raising and addressing concerns.
If your concern requires additional review or support beyond the school level, the Student and Family Support Office will assist by connecting you with your superintendent or the appropriate Board personnel.
To ensure every inquiry is directed to the right staff member and receives a timely response, families seeking support are asked to begin by completing the Student and Family Support Form.
How to Reach the Student and Family Support Office
Students and families can submit inquiries using the Student and Family Support Form.
After submitting the form, you will receive an email with your case number, which acknowledges your inquiry and can be used to track its progress.
Our staff are only able to respond to inquiries that have a case number generated through the form.
If you need assistance completing the form, staff are here to help and can be reached at 416-397-6222 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM).
What to Expect After You Submit
A confirmation email with your case number.
Follow-up from SFSO staff or direct connection to the appropriate Board personnel.
