School History
Cardinal Léger Catholic School was established in September 1988, initially sharing facilities with St. Malachy Catholic School. In September 1989, our school community moved into a newly constructed building featuring a unique atrium design and an on-site child care centre that continues to serve local families.
Our Namesake
Our school is named after Paul-Émile Cardinal Léger of Montreal—a teacher, priest, missionary, and advocate for the poor and disabled. His life of service and compassion remains a powerful role model for our students and reflects our values as Catholics and Canadians in a multicultural society.
