About Us

CSLIT

CSLIT logo

The Catholic Student Leadership Impact Team (CSLIT) is a group of amazing student leaders from Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) secondary schools. They meet once per month at the Catholic Education Centre (CEC) to voice their opinions and help advise the elected TCDSB student trustees.

All students from grades 9 through 12 are welcome to participate. CSLIT is a great place to network with like-minded student leaders, share best practices and discover issues that students are passionate about. Contact the TCDSB student trustees for more information on how to get involved with CSLIT.

Mission

Our mission is to represent the students of the TCDSB. We foster a community dedicated to responsible citizenship, student engagement, and leadership grounded in Catholic Gospel.

General Assembly

A CSLIT General Assembly meeting is held from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, usually on the last Tuesday of every month. All students of CSLIT’s member schools are entitled to be a member of CSLIT and are invited to all General Assembly and Standing Committee meetings. All TCDSB secondary schools are entitled to be a member school of CSLIT.

Our Student Trustees

Each year, one secondary student is elected board-wide to serve as a student trustee of the TCDSB for a two-year term, leading to two student trustees serving in any given school year. The TCDSB student trustees also serve as the co-chairs of CSLIT. Learn more about the roles and responsibilities of student trustees on our Student Trustees page.
