On May 21, 2025, the Divine Mercy Catholic School community gathered to celebrate a joyful and long-awaited milestone, the official opening and blessing of their brand-new school building.

The celebration began with a special blessing led by Father Joshua Grandmaison, who offered prayers over the school, its students, staff, and all who contributed to bringing this vision to life.

The event welcomed several distinguished guests, including Director of Education Dr. Brendan Browne, Chair of the Board Markus de Domenico, Trustee Angela Kennedy, Superintendent George Danfulani and members of the Capital Development and Planning team. Also in attendance were representatives from Snyder Architects, who worked diligently to design and build the new space.

The ceremony was a beautiful reminder of the importance of Catholic education, community partnership, and creating safe, inspiring spaces where students can learn, grow, and live out their faith. It was a day marked by gratitude, hope, and excitement for all that lies ahead for the Divine Mercy community.
