On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, and on Thursday, April 6, 2023, students from Grades 1 and 8, along with support from their teachers, Ms. Sestito, Ms. Spieker, Ms. Sarracini, and Ms. Zigrossi participated in the re-enactment of the Passion of our Lord at Holy Child Catholic School. School staff working with students, and our families from the school community did an excellent job of designing and preparing the costumes for this important occasion.
More than 200 people from the community along with Ms. Cifelli, Area 1 Superintendent, Fr. McEwen, St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and Audrey Ferrer, TCDSB Religion and Family Life Department attended the Wednesday night prayer service. On Holy Thursday, 250 students, including the Intermediate students from St. Maurice Catholic School, watched this important re-enactment of events in the Catholic Liturgical calendar.
