Dress Code

Tops

  • Navy blue/white tops (collar/no collar).

  • Sweat shirts, sweaters, jackets, vests.

  • Dress shirts, blouses, t-shirts, golf shirts.

Navy Blue Bottoms (Navy Blue)

  • Shorts (mid-thigh in length).

  • Skorts (mid-thigh in length).

  • Dress pants.

  • Capri pants.

  • Cargo pants .

Not permitted :

  • Spaghetti straps.

  • Backless tops.

  • Halter tops.

  • Denim tops or bottoms.

  • Tube tops, or tops which do not cover the area from the neck to the top of the shoulders.

  • Any printed pictures, messages etc.

  • Short shorts, skirts, or dresses.

  • Flip-flops.

  • Denim tops.

  • Cut-off shorts.

Dress Code in TCDSB Schools

All Elementary schools within the jurisdiction of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) shall adopt an Appropriate Dress Code or Uniform Dress Code.

All Secondary schools within the jurisdiction of the Board shall adopt a Uniform Dress Code.

Parents are encouraged to review the local dress code at their child’s school and to direct their questions to the principal of the school.
