Alexander W., a Grade 10 student attending St. Anne Catholic Academy School of Virtual Learning Secondary, has won second place in the Friars' Essay Contest 2023. The contest is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Toronto’s Office for Christian Unity and Religious Relations with Judaism, the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, and The Catholic Register. The award ceremony will happen this Sunday (March 12) at Holy Name Church, officiated by Bishop Kasun.
