Last year, Danilo—then a member of the Scarborough Shooting Stars—visited St. Barbara to inspire students with a powerful message about perseverance, balance, and prioritizing academics as a student-athlete.
Fast forward to March 2026: now playing with the Brampton Honey Badgers, Danilo continues to demonstrate that character extends beyond the court. Keeping St. Barbara close to his heart, he generously donated 12 brand-new basketballs to support students in developing their skills and passion for the game.
His impact is already being felt. This year, the Intermediate Boys’ Basketball Team captured second place in the Divisional Tournament, while the Intermediate Girls’ Team secured first place in their Divisional Tournament. The Girls’ Team also brought home a second-place pennant from the Scarborough Slam Jam Tournament.
