Our School History and Tradition
We opened in the fall of 1952 as one of the first Catholic schools established in the south-central area of North York.
Originally, we served a newly developed rural community and have continued to grow alongside the neighbourhood.
Today, we welcome a diverse student population of more than 200 students.
We are named after St. Charles Borromeo, a renowned Church leader who devoted his life to the renewal and welfare of the Catholic Church.
St. Charles Borromeo:
Played a significant role in the Council of Trent
Was known for his leadership and service
Demonstrated a strong commitment to education and faith
We celebrate his feast day on November 4.
Today, we proudly honour our rich history and Catholic traditions.
We provide a welcoming, faith-filled environment where students are encouraged to grow in:
Learning
Leadership
Service
