Congratulations to Adam P. of St. Columba Catholic School for winning the Grade 5 Open City Chess Championship. With this impressive victory, Adam has qualified for the Provincial Chess Championship, which will take place at the end of April.
Adam has shown tremendous dedication, focus, and commitment to the game of chess. Through consistent practice and a positive attitude, he has developed strong strategic thinking and sportsmanship. Not only has Adam competed at a high level, but he has also been a wonderful role model for other students in our school’s chess community.
His achievement reflects both his hard work and his passion for the game. The staff, his coach and students of St. Columba Catholic School are extremely proud of Adam’s outstanding accomplishment and wish him the very best of luck as he represents our school at the provincial level.
