Dress Code and Uniform Purchases

St. Denis adheres to the Toronto Catholic District School Board standard school dress code policy, specifically, the Navy Blue and White dress code.

However, we also have an optional 3rd colour in our dress code which is a hunter/forest green, and an optional style with a St. Denis Facon theme that we call Spirit Wear.

Uniform Purchasing

Navy blue and white dress code items can be purchased from any vendor.

Green and crested dress code items, as well as Spirit Wear items (with a St. Denis Falcon mascot theme) can only be purchased from InSchoolwear.

Spirit Wear can be purchased from Varsity Canada only at specified Campaign times throughout the year. Having specified dates allows us to keep the cost down.

Watch your email and the school calendar for campaign announcements.

St. Denis Crests

Iron-on/sew-on crests are available for purchase at the school office. Crest placement on any store bought clothing item should comply with the vendor InSchoolwear Inc. purchased items (for TOPS – on the upper left portion of the shirt or sweater, for PANTS or SHORTS – on the left thigh)

Dress Down Days

During the year, dress down days or non-dress code days will be planned. Students can wear “regular clothes” but attire must be appropriate and modest, keeping with our Catholic values and general dress code.

Students have the option of a dress down day on their birthday. If a birthday falls on a weekend or holiday, the student has the option of dressing down on the Friday before or the Monday after.
