About Us

St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School serves more than 250 students from Kindergarten/Early Learning Program to Grade 8. Our building, constructed in 1967, has since undergone significant improvements, including updates to the Library and Kindergarten classrooms.

Because most of our students live nearby, school bussing is limited.

A Welcoming and Diverse Community

We proudly welcome families and children from around the world. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate in school events, including our monthly Mass celebrations at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.

Academic and Co-Curricular Programs

Our academic program is based on the Ontario Curriculum and the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations. Families can find links to grade-level and subject-specific resources on the Ministry of Education website.

We also offer a variety of co-curricular activities and athletic programs throughout the school year to support student growth beyond the classroom.

Our Patron Saint

Our school is named after St. Isaac Jogues, a Jesuit priest from France who served in the Midland area of Ontario over 350 years ago. He gave his life as a martyr for his faith.

Students are encouraged to draw inspiration from St. Isaac Jogues’ courage and to follow his example by becoming committed followers of Jesus Christ.
