About Us

St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School serves approximately 300 students from Kindergarten/Early Learning Program to Grade 8. Our building was constructed in 1967, but since then the school has received notable improvements to its Library and Kindergarten classrooms. School bussing is limited because almost all of our students live within the immediate vicinity of the school.

We welcome families and children from all over the world to our school community. There is strength in our diversity! Parents and guardians are invited to our school events, including our monthly Mass celebrations at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.

Our academic program is designed from the Ontario Curriculum and Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations. Links to each grade level and subject area can be found on the Ministry of Education website. As well, a wide range of co-curricular activities and athletics are offered at various times of the school year.

Our patron saint is St. Isaac Jogues, a Jesuit priest from France who worked in the Midland area of Ontario 350 years ago. His life came to an end as a martyr for his faith. Our students are encouraged to learn form the indomitable courage of St. Isaac Jogues and follow his example by becoming committed followers of Jesus Christ.
