According to the article by Simon Bennett, Gabriel Rouse first caught the attention of his peers and coach at just six years old, showcasing his basketball skills in the schoolyard. By Grade 4, he had already earned a spot on his school team, competing primarily against students several years older.
This season, St. Marcellus Catholic Elementary School achieved an impressive third-place finish out of 42 schools in Toronto’s west region. In addition to his school success, Gabriel continues to develop his skills through club basketball, including participating in tournaments in the United States.
