Students and staff at St. Richard Catholic School are celebrating a successful year of baseball programming made possible through the generous support of the Jays Care Foundation.
This year, students in Mrs. Choe’s and Mr. Medeiro’s classes participated in two Jays Care Affiliate programs: Girls at Bat and Challenger Baseball. The programs provided students with an exciting opportunity to learn the fundamental skills, rules, and teamwork involved in the game of baseball.
Through engaging activities and hands-on instruction, students developed their confidence, improved their athletic abilities, and experienced the joy of participating in an inclusive and supportive sports environment. The programs also encouraged physical activity, friendship, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.
The St. Richard Catholic School community extends its sincere gratitude to the Jays Care Foundation for making these valuable experiences possible. The impact of these programs has left students eager to continue developing their skills and enjoying the game.
As this school year comes to a close, one message sums up the excitement shared by participants throughout the year: Let's Play Ball!
