Dress Code

All students are expected to follow the school’s dress code, which reflects the values of a respectful and safe Catholic learning environment.

Acceptable Clothing

  • Tops: Plain white or navy t-shirts, golf shirts, or turtlenecks

    • No lace or large logos (small logos or the optional St. Simon logo are permitted)

  • Sweaters/Sweatshirts: White or navy, worn over a white top

    • No hoodies or lace trim

  • Bottoms: Navy pants, knee-length skirts or shorts (no denim or blue jeans)

    • Skirts are allowed, but may be impractical for play or cold weather

  • Shoes: Any closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops or open sandals for safety)

    • Indoor shoes should be kept at school during winter months

  • Hats: Not permitted inside the school building

Not Permitted

  • Denim of any kind

  • Tops or bottoms with lace trim or large logos

  • Short skirts, short shorts, leggings, cropped tops, muscle shirts

  • T-shirts with inappropriate slogans or graphics

Seasonal Notes

  • In warm weather, walking shorts are allowed

  • “Short shorts” are not permitted for Grades 4–8

Maintaining Our Standards

Students must be appropriately dressed at all times, including during school events such as excursions, concerts, and sports days. If a student is not in compliance, parents will be contacted and the student may be asked to change or provided with alternative clothing.
