Dress Code
St. Thomas More Catholic School follows the Toronto Catholic District School Board's Appropriate Dress Code Policy. Students are expected to wear navy blue and white clothing that reflects modesty and Catholic values.
Acceptable Clothing
Tops (White or Navy):
Long- or short-sleeved collared shirts or blouses
Turtleneck or mockneck shirts
Sweaters, cardigans, vests, hoodies, and fleeces
Bottoms (Navy):
Pants (cotton, fleece, nylon, or corduroy)
Shorts (cotton, fleece, or nylon)
Skirts, skorts, and tunics
Note: All shorts and skirts must be no shorter than mid-thigh.
Items Not Permitted
No sleeveless shirts
No denim, lycra, yoga pants, jeggings, or tights/leggings (unless worn under a skirt)
No accent colours (e.g., stripes or coloured buttons)
No graphics or logos, except the school-approved logo
Only navy or white clothing is permitted (not baby blue, other shades of blue, off-white, or beige)
Additional Guidelines
Non-uniform tops may be worn during gym class but must be changed afterward.
Navy or white knee socks or tights must be worn with skirts.
Footwear must be appropriate for daily school activities.
The school administration reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any garment.
