At Transfiguration of Our Lord Catholic School, we are proud to celebrate the achievements of our student writers in this year’s Polar Expressions Short Story and Poetry Competition.

An impressive 23 students from the Grade 6, 7 and 8 Congregated Gifted classes at Transfiguration of Our Lord had their creative works selected for publication, showcasing their talent, creativity, and dedication to writing. This achievement reflects the strength of student voice and imagination.

The Polar Expressions competition showcases exceptional student writing from across Canada, recognizing young authors whose stories and poems demonstrate creativity, originality, and strong literary voice. Having work chosen for publication is a significant achievement and reflects the hard work and passion our students bring to literacy and creative expression.

Congratulations to all of our published students on this outstanding accomplishment. We are incredibly proud of their success and look forward to seeing their creativity continue to shine.
