Care for Newcomer Children Site Profiles

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) Adult Education Program has been providing services to adult learners since 1964. Several thousands of adult learners participate in our programs each year.

Who can Attend Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Classes?

Convention refugees and permanent residents 18 or older.

How to Register?

All eligible LINC, English as a Second Language (ESL) and French as a Second Language (FSL) clients have to be assessed by YMCA and come to the course location with 2 pieces of identification showing status and address in Canada (one with picture, no photocopies).

Site Profiles

Some of our locations offer free LINC Care for Newcomer Children (CNC) for children of parents or legal guardians attending daytime classes in the same building. Below is a brief profile of some of the LINC CNC Program sites.
