Our School
About Us
All Saints Catholic Elementary School follows the Mission Statement of the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB), with Catholic faith at the heart of everything we do. Our programs are rooted in prayer, liturgical celebrations, the sacraments, and Gospel values, supporting students with diverse strengths and needs.
Student Safety
We prioritize student safety through clear routines and procedures. Our Code of Conduct promotes mutual respect, conflict resolution, and self-discipline. Safe arrival and departure programs maintain consistent communication between home and school to ensure students travel safely.
Scent-Sensitive Environment
To protect individuals with sensitivities, we ask all staff, students, and visitors to avoid or minimize the use of scented products while in the school.
Student Success
Catholic education at All Saints goes beyond academics. Graduates are guided by the Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations and are encouraged to be:
Discerning believers
Effective communicators
Reflective, creative, and self-directed learners
Collaborative contributors
Caring family members
Responsible citizens
These values support lifelong learning and spiritual growth, shaping students into thoughtful and engaged members of society.
Faith-Based Education
Through our Religion and Family Life programs, students explore Catholic traditions, Christian service, vocations, and responsible citizenship. Daily prayers, religion lessons, monthly rosary sessions, and Gospel value integration are central to our curriculum. Select classes participate in “The Rosary in the Schools,” broadcast live on Radio Maria.
Students are encouraged to actively participate in monthly Masses and confessions, often taking leadership roles during liturgical celebrations.
Child Care Services
PLASP Child Care Services operates in our school from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, including PA Days. The program offers snacks and engaging activities before and after school.

School History
All Saints Catholic Elementary School and All Saints Roman Catholic Church share deep historical ties. The school opened in fall 1962, and the parish held its first mass in the schoolyard on June 21, 1964. The church was completed three years later under Father Martin O'Grady, with its first mass celebrated on All Saints Day, November 1, 1967—a tradition still honoured by both the school and parish.
Growth and Modernization
Originally a small school, All Saints quickly grew to over 750 students, reflecting a rich cultural diversity. In November 2003, a new state-of-the-art facility was opened, featuring:
Bright, spacious classrooms
Heated kindergarten floors
A fully integrated computer lab
A modern gymnasium
A sunlit atrium
In 2022, the school proudly celebrated its 60th anniversary of serving the community.
School Identity and Values
The school crest symbolizes prayer, learning, knowledge, athletic achievement, and the motto “Love and Growth.” All Saints fosters a caring environment that promotes tolerance, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to Catholic faith.
