Dress Code for Civvies Days

All students are expected to come to school appropriately dressed—neat, clean, and in a manner that reflects the values and atmosphere of a Catholic school.

Appropriate dress includes:

  • Covered shoulders

  • Shorts that are at least mid-thigh in length

  • Clothing with positive messages or images

  • Attire that supports a focused academic setting

Inappropriate clothing includes:

  • Items that do not reflect modesty (e.g., t-shirts with sexual content or inappropriate slogans, halter tops, crop tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops, short shorts, muscle shirts for boys, and hats worn indoors)

  • Torn or unhemmed shorts and pants

  • Bandanas or any gang-related paraphernalia

Makeup is not permitted. Students are encouraged to take pride in their personal appearance, and it is the responsibility of parents to ensure their child is suitably dressed for school.

The principal may exercise discretion in allowing exceptions to the dress code. In cases of inappropriate attire, parents may be contacted and asked to pick up their child.
