It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude that the James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic Secondary School community congratulates Mr. Andrejin, recipient of the 2025 Teacher of the Year Award. This honour could not be more fitting for a man whose unwavering service, faith-filled leadership, and daily example of Christ-like love have touched generations of students, staff, and families.
For over 25 years, Mr. Andrejin has quietly and humbly been the heartbeat of our school. Arriving before dawn each morning, he begins his day not with lesson plans, but with service—personally preparing and offering breakfast to more than 1,000 students through the JCM Breakfast Club, a program he founded and continues to lead without recognition or reward. His simple acts of love feed more than just bodies—they nourish the hearts and spirits of all who walk through our doors.
Mr. Andrejin is the voice of comfort and inspiration each morning, guiding our daily prayers and announcements with wisdom, warmth, and hope. He is a mentor to staff, a guardian in our hallways, and a living example of our Catholic faith in action. He brings light to the darkest days and grace to every encounter—whether offering a prayer, a smile, or simply the gift of presence.
Mr. Andrejin teaches us all that true leadership is found in service, and that the soul of Catholic education lies not just in curriculum, but in community. His dedication has shaped the culture of JCM and created a legacy of compassion that will echo for years to come.
On behalf of every student, teacher, and family member whose life has been changed by his generosity, we say thank you, Mr. Andrejin. Your faith, love, and sacrifice have made JCM a place where every student feels seen, valued, and loved. You are the very definition of what it means to be Teacher of the Year—and a true servant-leader of our Catholic school system.
With love and admiration,
The JCM Community
