At James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School, our Transportation Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program continues to thrive thanks to dedicated community partnerships—like the one with Elite Auto Collision and respected business owner Mario Menna.
As a passionate entrepreneur and long-time mentor, Mr. Menna is committed to guiding the next generation of skilled trades professionals. With more vehicles on the road than ever before and Ontario’s population growing rapidly, the demand for trained mechanics, body technicians, and automotive experts is reaching new heights. Until now, formal training opportunities at the high school level have been limited.
But through hands-on partnerships like this, students at JCM are gaining real-world experience, industry insight, and mentorship—paving the way for successful careers in a booming sector.
This progress would not have been possible without the vision and dedication of our Executive Director, Shawna Campbell, and the unwavering belief and leadership of Mr. Antonio Bisceglia. For over a decade, Mr. Bisceglia has made it his mission to ensure that every student—regardless of background—has access to meaningful, future-ready learning opportunities.
