We are thrilled to announce that Edwin O., a dedicated student-athlete from James Cardinal McGuigan Catholic High School, has been selected to represent Canada on the U16 National Soccer Team. This prestigious honor places Edwin among the country’s top young soccer talents and marks a significant milestone in his athletic journey.

Edwin, who also plays for Toronto FC's youth academy, has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, discipline, and passion for the game. His selection to the national team is a testament not only to his personal hard work and commitment, but also to the support of his coaches, teachers, teammates, and family.

At James Cardinal McGuigan, Edwin is known for balancing academic responsibilities with the demanding schedule of a high-performance athlete. His humility and strong work ethic have made him a role model for his peers and a source of pride for the school community.
